Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Islam Bandung (FK Unisba) was established on October 27, 2004. On its 19th anniversary, FK Unisba has made many contributions and efforts to improve public health status, especially in the area of Bandung and West Java Province, where FK Unisba stand. This efforts are carried out on an ongoing basis through the Tridarma of Higher Education, namely education and teaching, research and community service. The current vision of FK Unisba is to become a superior and leading FK in Asia in 2033 based on Islamic values with excellence in industrial community health. To achieve this vision, FK Unisba hold international scientific seminars annually as a manifestation of internationalization and also to commemorate the anniversary. The international seminar is called the Bandung International Conference on Medical and Health Sciences and has been held 2 times. The seminar has succeeded in inviting speakers who are experts in the field of health and medicine. In 2023, FK Unisba will again hold the 3rd Bandung International Conference on Medical and Health Sciences in the context of celebrating the 19th Anniversary of FK Unisba. The 3rd BICMHS this year will be special because it will be held in conjunction with the Dean Forum of the Association of Indonesian Private Medical Faculties (AFKSI). At the 3rd BICMHS, FK Unisba will invite speakers from within and outside the country, namely Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
Bandung International Conference of Medical Health and Science is annualy event held by Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Islam Bandung. This year event is on conjuction with AFKSI (Asosiasi Fakultas Kedokteran Swasta Indonesia)
